1 June 2017: The Committee of Hawthorn Community Chest (HCC) is delighted to announce that the 2017 recipient of its Hawthorn Community Chest Jane Nathan Community Award is Cr Coral Ross, three times Mayor of Boroondara and great community contributor.
In making the presentation, HCC President Sarah Curtis commended Cr Ross for the personal support she has given the Chest over numerous years.

She is a deserving recipient of the Hawthorn Community Chest Jane Nathan Community Award, and I am delighted to finally be able to recognise her for long-term contribution”, Ms Curtis said.
Cr Ross is the President of the Australian Local Government Women’s Association, and was just awarded a life membership of this prestigious body.
