HCC joining in the Camberwell Rotary 60th Celebrations.

It was a night to remember when several Rotarians and local community leaders joined Camberwell RC to celebrate their 60th anniversary at Hawthorn Town Hall recently. HCC’s EO Tine Donaldson joined Hawthorn RC President Meredith Hays and Camberwell President Nick Pane at the celebrations.

During the night it was announced that another of HCC’s close partners, Servant Community Housing with its CEO Matt Maudlin is to receive significant funding of $100,000 from the 8 Rotary Clubs in Boroondara, for Servants new venture, a Women’s Community House. This is an amazing project that has been in the pipeline for quite some time, and HCC’s would like to take this opportunity in congratulating Matt, all residents and staff at Servants on securing funding for the Women’s Community House.  During the festivities of  the night, it was announced that Rotary got the naming rights for the new property and it will be called the Les Brown Rotary House. HCC Management Committee wishes to congratulate Matt and all at Servants on this very happy news.
