Our beloved colleague Terry Pacini passed away on 16 August and leaves a 27-year legacy of dedicated service to Hawthorn Community Chest and our local community.
Terry was our Public Officer for almost two decades. He led our Investment Committee and prudently oversaw the investment of our corpus, remaining on this committee right up to the time of his passing.
Terry was genuine, honest, and loyal and always reminded us how hard it is to raise a dollar and he ensured his voice was heard on any grant request.
Terry forged strong and respected friendships with all past and present committee members, and this extended to partners and children, of whom Terry often enquired about their health and general wellbeing.
Terry was appointed a Life Governor in 2012 in recognition of his significant contribution to Hawthorn Community Chest and personally sponsored several appointments of Life Governors over the years. Terry leaves behind a deep and lasting legacy at Hawthorn Community Chest and long will we remember him.
Terry is survived by his wife Barb, his daughters Anita and Sara, son-in law Sean and grandsons Henry and Alexander. May he rest in peace.
